J O N I AMEN! =)) (Source: spiritualinspiration) Unique and Wonderful...: The Man On the Wheel Chair kenyves:
Bear with me I have a short story that hit me so much.
After the first World War the United States with its big heart gave vast sums of money to the dislocated orphans of Europe, but they didn’t have enough to meet the need. In one of the places where they were taking in orphans, a man came in,…

You may not understand everything that’s going on in your life right now, but I encourage you to keep your head held high. Know that God is working in your life. Keep being faithful. Keep doing the right thing, knowing that in the end God is going to turn things around in your favor. If God is for you, who can be against you? No one. Greater is the One who is in you than anyone who can be against you. No matter what’s going on around you today, you can put your shoulders back and put a smile on your face because God is working things together for your good because He loves you!

(Source: spiritualinspiration) REALationships. Relationships, yeah, it’s important for me, but not now. I realize how narrow thinker I am, right after i read the question “what’s your most valued possession?”, ‘coz you know what, the first thing that comes on my mind isn’t my family but my dreams. next is still my dreams, which can be sustained by material things. i kept in mind POSSESSIONS = material things, freedom to have them.
i’ve been possessive of the things that i do not have. that’s why i never consider my family as my greatest possession here on earth because i’ve been complacent about having them since they’ve and are with me all my life. The truth is, i even wished my parents to go abroad or rather send me to a dormitory so that I’ll be more independent and free from their presence. I trusted myself I’ll be having a good time.
While on the other parts of this world, people are dying to protect their relationships.
LESSON: Learn from their mistakes, they have been in that situation of having the material things seemingly endlessly, which i wish i have. But at the end of the day, they are miserable, hoping they gave their relationships full time attention and keep it till they could. Now that the material possessions are gone, same as the relationships. They’re now asking themselves the what-on-earth-am-i-still-living-for? I lose everything.
Hey, i could be having the relationships others are dying to have. posting my letters to God for the past 6 mos. “I put no trust in my bow, my sword does not bring me victory; but you give us victory over our enemies, you put our adversaries to shame.” —Ps. 44:6-7 yes, i thought of myself that i already entrusted it to You Lord, all these things happening to us. But what happened? I’m still shut to my bones eh, seemed that You slapped my faith right into my face (that’s what I felt—the hammer). But then again, I realized that it’s not about my faith in You, the control is not in my hands, it’s on Yours. Yes, You can do the impossible, i gave my options (with commands) in which i thought were the answers, I got refusals from You—ouch! because You have something better/best in store for us. I’m sorry for all of these. I didn’t do my best to get understanding, instead i tried to run away, be in distant of Your shadows. I realized that I put my trust on the faith I had professed that’s why i shut down after You said, ‘not now my child’. Love your PARENTS. We are so busy GROWING UP , we often forget they are also GROWING OLD.
